More on mash-ups…

OK, the baby mash-up tool was a bit weird but the fact is, there are companies today spending quite a bit of money on tools that closely resemble the Baby Maker. In fact, according to a recent report from Forrester Research, mash-up tools are one of the top five web 2.0 applications that enterprises will invest in.

Take the Texas-based Kapow Technologies as an example. They are providing companies like Bell Canada, Deutsche Post and the insurance giant, Zürich with web 2.0 applications which enable high-volume, automated collection of web-based market data.

It’s just like the baby maker but a bit more high-brow.
